頭と首を背へ折り返し、身を休める鴨の姿をかたどった小さな印章。

黒みを帯びたヘマタイトには穏やかな光沢があり、丸い胴体と、背に沿う首の線が一つの形にまとまっています。

上部には横方向の孔が通り、細長い底面には、斜めに広がる線や点状の刻みが彫られています。柔らかな外形に対し、底面の彫刻はくっきりとした表情を見せています。

A small stamp seal carved in the form of a resting duck, its head and neck turned back along its body.

The dark hematite has a gentle sheen. The rounded body and the line of the folded neck form a compact silhouette.

A transverse hole passes through the upper part. The narrow base bears engraved lines spreading diagonally, together with small dot-like cuts. The sharply defined carving contrasts with the softly rounded exterior.
