この珠の特徴は、カットされた面の鋭い稜線が美しく残り、大きな破損や摩耗が少ないことにある。
表面には時を経て生まれた銀化が広がり、黄褐色のガラスと銀灰色の光彩が美しい対比を見せる。穿孔の内側には、今なお白い銀化膜が残されている。
小さな一粒の中に、ガラス本来の透明感と、長い年月がもたらした表情が共存している。
