Cylinder Seal with a Presentation Scene

神前へと人が導かれる場面を、小さな黒色の円筒に刻んだ印章です。印影には、角冠を戴き玉座に座る神と、その前に立つ2人の人物、頭上の三日月が見られます。粘土上を転がすことで、側面の図像が連続した印影として現れます。

A small black-stone cylinder seal depicting a presentation before a deity. The impression shows a seated deity wearing a horned crown, two standing figures and a crescent above. Rolling the cylinder across clay produces a continuous impression of the carved scene.
