赤橙色のカーネリアンに、兜姿とみられる人物の横顔を刻んだ小さな装身具。

額から鼻、口元、顎へと続く輪郭を細く彫り、頭上には葉状の線刻、後方には曲線を重ねています。肩の部分にも、衣を思わせる線が添えられています。

石を囲むブロンズの枠には曲線文様があり、裏側から伸びる湾曲した軸の先には、丸い端部を備えています。ボタンのような留め具と考えられますが、具体的な用途は分かっていません。

人物はアテナ、またはミネルウァを表す可能性があります。

Fine engraving traces the forehead, nose, mouth and chin. Leaf-like incisions appear above the head, with curving lines extending behind it. Lines at the shoulder suggest drapery.

The bronze surround bears curved decoration. A bent stem extends from the back and ends in a rounded terminal. Its construction suggests a button-like fastener, although its precise function remains unknown.
