Sasanian Stamp Seal with Pahlavi Inscription

乳白色のカルセドニーに、拝火壇と植物を思わせる文様、周縁の銘文を刻んだスタンプ印章です。印影では、左側にゾロアスター教の拝火壇とされる図像、右側に葉や植物を図案化した文様が現れます。丸みを帯びた本体には貫通孔があり、小さな印面に細やかな彫刻が施されています。

A milky-white chalcedony stamp seal carved with an image thought to represent a fire altar, plant-like motifs and an inscription around the border. In the impression, the presumed Zoroastrian fire altar appears on the left and stylised foliage on the right. The rounded body is pierced, and the small seal face is finely engraved.
